Saint Lucia Takes Over Scotiabank Arena!

Saint Lucia, the presenting sponsor of the Toronto Raptors’ Caribbean Heritage Night, is bringing the island’s vibrant culture to Scotiabank Arena on Friday, February 21, as the Raptors face the Miami Heat. This event coincides with Saint Lucia’s 46th Independence celebration on February 22, marked by iconic Canadian landmarks lighting up in the colors of the Saint Lucian flag.

Throughout the arena, Saint Lucia will be prominently showcased with LED displays, signage, and a four-week advertising campaign. A major highlight is the halftime performance by Saint Lucian Soca artists Motto and Ricky T, who will introduce the crowd to the island’s signature Dennery Segment music.

Fans can participate in exciting giveaways, including a chance to win a luxury vacation to Saint Lucia through a “Beach Ball Bonanza” at the game and a contest on the Raptors app. Additionally, Saint Lucia will support Toronto Raptors player Chris Boucher, a proud son of the island.

The event also fosters Caribbean-Canadian connections, bringing together members of the Indo-Caribbean Association and representatives from the Saint Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago Consulates.
